WOODJA

Hello all, glad to see you're fate has lead you here. This is a deck for those who want to control fate itself. The fate of your creatures, your planeswalkers. Even of your opponents creatures, and their life itself. Aminatou, the Fateshifter uses the tools at her disposal to manipulate the top of your deck, and more importantly, the contents of your board.

Between Amintou's three abilities, her most powerful by far is her ability to flicker our permanents. Do we want to draw a card? Baleful Strix gives us draw. Do we need to search for our spells to deal with our opponents or accelerate our plans? Spellseeker pulls them out. Are we ready to create an endless spiral with Altar of the Brood or Vela the Night-Clad? Felidar Guardian enables our combos.

I can go on and on with the various combinations between Aminatou and our various creatures, and complimentary plansewalkers. The most important thing to remember is how much value can be derived from constantly recycling abilities. And most importantly, never forget that she flicker's things we OWN and not necessarily control. I'm looking at you, Gilded Drake. And never forget about our helper's in changing fate. Brago, King Eternal, Felidar Guardian, Restoration Angel, Venser, the Sojourner, Kaya, Ghost Assassin can all flicker things we control, in equal or lesser fashion.

In regards to Aminatou's other abilities, never underestimate the power of putting a miracle on top of our deck, or drawing the card we've just tutored to the top of our deck, or just doing it to generate more loyalty to flicker more later. And while unlikely, her ultimate can change the tide of a losing game, if we can reach it. Taking our opponents power for ourselves while giving nothing of value away can end a game.

Our conditions to end the game are numerous, but most of them rely on setting up combinations. While winning through combat is never NOT an option, it is not ideal. Winning through guile and strategy is our goal.

Our simplest win conditions revolve around Aminatou and Felidar Guardian. By using the two to infinitely flicker each other, it gives us infinite leave, and enter the battlefield effects. The two cards that best take advantage of this are Vela the Night-Clad, and Altar of the Brood to win through damage, and mill respectively. By adding Panharmonicon, Oath of Teferi or The Chain Veil to the mix, it allows an extra flicker from either Felidar, or Aminatou herself. This can be used to produce infinite mana by flickering lands or mana rocks, or infinite draw with our permanents that let us draw cards.

But we are not without back-up plans in case things go awry. We run many options for reanimating our creatures that have gone to the grave, as well as ways to place them there ourselves. Using Buried Alive to place Felidar Guardian, Phyrexian Delver and Vela the Night-Clad allows us to reanimate all three of them with one reanimation spell. Pull from Eternity brings our key combo pieces back from exile. And Helm of Obedience with either Layline of the Void or Rest in Peace gives us a way to exile our opponent's deck, and two opponents' decks if Aminatou is on the field as well.

There a several ways that you can modify this deck to better suit your particular fate. You may find something you think is missing, or something that you think does something better. In the end, I hope that I have helped you find your fate, or better yet, helped you master it...
