As the name implies, the goal is to win quickly by playing lots of spells at a reduced cost with Mizzix.

The idea is to get Mizzix out quickly, then play cheap draw spells to start adding experience counters while spending little mana. Once you have some counters, you can cast bigger spells for much less. Remember that cost reductions work on alternate and additional costs like Overload and Buyback. Also, when a spell with X in its cost is on the stack, X is equal to the value chosen when casting. So you can set X such that you don't pay colorless costs and trigger Mizzix to get an experience counter.

Removal spells clear the board if your opponents get too strong, and remove cards that prevent you from winning. Retrieval spells will get back key cards that get sent to the graveyard in some way. Counter spells stop big threats and counter an opponent's counter spell that can ruin your combo.

The deck usually wins by one of its combos, finishing off with a card that does enough burn damage for game.

Combos:

  1. Reiterate + Seething Song , Reiterate + Turnabout , Inner Fire + Reiterate , Mana Geyser + Reiterate , Reality Spasm + Reiterate = Infinite Mana, Infinite instant spell casts, & Infinite Storm count.

  2. Frantic Search + Reiterate + (enough reductions to instant spell costs) = Draw all cards in your deck.

  3. Comet Storm + Enter the Infinite + Inner Fire = Deal tons of damage, ideally for the win.

  4. Firemind's Foresight + Reiterate + Reality Spasm + Brainstorm / Lightning Bolt = Tutor for all pieces of combo 1, and copy Brainstorm / Lightning Bolt infinite times.

Combo Details:

  1. Play one of the mana spells in this combo, then repeatedly cast Reiterate with Buyback in response to create a copy, and allow Reiterate and the copy to resolve. This way, the copy will give you more than enough mana to cast Reiterate with Buyback again while the original mana spell is still on the stack. For some mana spells, pulling off this combo may also require reductions in the cost of spells. You can still get infinite spell casts and Storm counts if you get exactly enough mana to cast Reiterate with Buyback each time a copy resolves. If you get infinite red mana, you can then play infinite copies of any other spell from your hand using Reiterate .

  2. Play Frantic Search , then repeatedly cast Reiterate with Buyback in response to create a copy, and allow Reiterate and the copy to resolve. This combo is possible only if the cost to cast an instant spell has been reduced enough that untapping 3 lands from a copy of Frantic Search will provide enough mana to cast Reiterate with Buyback again. The easiest way to achieve the cost reductions is having Mizzix on the board when you have 3 experience counters. If you meet the requirements, then you can potentially draw every card in your deck. I say potentially because your deck may not be divisible by 2, and you wouldn't want to deck yourself out accidentally by drawing 2 with 1 card in your deck. Remember that you have to discard 2 after each time you draw 2, so keep in mind the card(s) you're trying to get from your deck.

  3. Play Enter the Infinite to get tons of cards into your hand, including the other pieces of this combo. Play Inner Fire to get tons of mana because you have tons of cards in your hand. Then play Comet Storm using the mana you just got to deal tons of damage to each opponent, ideally for game.

  4. Firemind's Foresight can automatically tutor for the other three cards in this combo. Then you can use Reiterate and Reality Spasm for combo 1, and copy Brainstorm / Lightning Bolt infinitely many times with Reiterate . So you'll either draw every card in your deck, or deal infinite damage. If you have it, Reset would be great in this deck, as it gives a much better choice in place of Reality Spasm .

Swapped in lots of good cards like Force of Will and Aetherflux Reservoir. Certain combos may no longer apply if one or more cards are not in deck.
