Howdy Gang, I'm making a EDH pirate deck! I'm fairly casual and I don't necessarily want to break the bank and I want to try to keep it in theme.So my main win con is the more practical one, which invloves beating faces in with pirates. The second win con is Zulaport Cutthroat, Pitiless Plunderer, and March Of the Machines for a dastardly life drain infinite combo. And of course,I do have the nice Treasure For The Win strategy with Revel in Riches and Mechanized Production as an alternative win con. I do have Marionette Master as a psuedo winc con as I do run alot of treasure esc cards. I do want some help for certain cuts. I do feel like adding Vadalken Orrey/ Leyline of Anticipation but Idk which card to take out for it. I am no expert deck builder! I feel my ratios for Land are fairly playable and work(I've never built a three color build before). I am considering adding the Grixis Marchesa because it adds another layer of recursion among my pirates, in adding that, I want to add Unspeakable Symbol, this adds exactly what I want in the Marchessa Strategy of putting counters on my guys for 3 life (which may be relevant for dethrone). My meta is a tad more creature heavy so hence why I’m packing the psuedo Maze of Ith and the War Tax. I also have a heavy graveyard meta which is why I run the Graveyard hate in the main.
