DECK THEMES

Fun stuff with Merieke Ri Berit: Thousand-Year Elixir, Minamo, School at Water's Edge, Vizier of Tumbling Sands.

Stuff to recur with Sun Titan: Angelic Renewal, Spellseeker, Phantasmal Image, Liliana, the Last Hope, Wall of Omens, D-Sphere, O-Ring, Necrotic Sliver and others. The planeswalkers are mostly recurable as well.

There's a curse-theme in the deck, with everything from Bitterheart Witch to Curse of Misfortunes. Recommended player to curse is the monored or -black player, who will struggle to deal with enchantments. Academy Rector is mostly used to fetch Debtors' Knell or Overwhelming Splendor, but can obviously be used to get other enchantments as well.

The card that ended up making the most changes to the deck was Spellseeker. Dromar's Charm, Esper Charm and a host of other 3+ CC spells made way to 1-2 CC spells like Chart a Course and Cyclonic Drift. X-spells (Black Sun's Zenith, Pull from Tomorrow) are especially nice to fetch with the 1/1. Later on Winds of Abandon was later added as another overload board wipe.

Modern Horizons also brought the Urza-package of Urza, Lord High Artificer, Sword of the Meek and Thopter Foundry to the deck for some infinite thopters and life (and play whole deck).
