EDH merfolk that aims to draw a lot of cards. In fact, a lot of the process of narrowing down the cards for this build has been removing a lot of the draw spells in favor of more merfolk. Kumena makes this possible as having a commander that draws cards it just so powerful. The goal here is essentially just to go mega wide. The actual evasion on the merfolk is actually pretty sparse, but there's a lot of other utility here as well.

Having a strong tap-untap theme here seems strong. Throne of the God-Pharaoh seemed a bit iffy as it encourages you to tap out on your own turn, but the reach it gives is great, not to mention to the play with cards like Quest for Renewal - that's what this deck wants to be doing more than anything.

The control angle is a little weak, but it is there as your source of interaction (which admittedly is also a bit of a weakness for this deck). I'm looking forward to putting this deck into action to see what it can really do with a low curve, and a mass of card-draw.

Worth noting that there is another strategy that can be taken here by using Kumena's FIRST ability, in concert with cards like Stoneforge Masterwork to get the commander damage win, although might be more a of a meta call (if there's a lot of Ghostly Prison strategies), so in the Maybeboard for now.
