Maybeboard


They force attacc, but they need protecc. But most importantly, their emblems wrecc.

I am on a quest to find a way to make a good deck with the new partner planeswalkers. The problem is, that most of their abilities just synergize with themselves.

The deck is designed to protect the planeswalkers until they can get their emblems out. Each emblem copies something, so the deck has a copy theme.

Will's emblem copies instants and sorceries, so there are plenty of those in the deck. It will (get it?) copy my deck's powerful instants and sorceries. These are my wincons. Ironically, they all copy or steal my opponent's stuff. Ex: Blatant Thievery, Clone Legion, or Rite of Replication.

Rowan's emblem copies activated abilities likeNivix Guildmage, Meletis Charlatan, and Echo Mage for more copy effects. In addition, these Rowan's emblem copies proliferate abilities like on Viral Drake or Contagion Engine, which give my planeswalkers more counters. Not only that, but I believe loyalty abilities are activated abilities, so this emblem lets me copy my commanders' abilities.

Since the emblems are crucial to the deck, the planeswalkers need the most amount of protection and loyalty acceleration they can get.

This protection can come in the form of chump blocker tokens from Talrand, Sky Summoner, Metallurgic Summonings, Docent of Perfection   or The Locust God.

Or in the form of board wipes. Ones that target only attacking creatures are especially useful as Rowan's +2 forces creatures to attack. Example, AEtherize or AEtherspouts. Mirror Match and Illusionist's Gambit are also funny with this ability.

Extra turns also give me more time to use their abilities.

Loyalty can also be boosted with proliferate abilities like on Inexorable Tide, Contagion Engine, or Viral Drake. Also, The Chain Veil is obviously in the deck.

Help! This deck is a work in progress and I would like feedback. I am having trouble removing cards and determining which ones are crucial to the deck. YOU MAY HAVE SEEN THE GIANT MAYBE BOARD, WHICH ARE ALL CARDS I AM CONSIDERING.

I also think the deck needs more planeswalkers, but I don't know what to replace. The deck also might need more ramp and lands, BUT REMOVING CARDS IS THE ULTIMATE CHALLENGE!

All feedback is appreciated, but if you suggest a card, I would also appreciate if you suggest a card to remove. In my experience, it is easier to add cards than remove them.
