Card draw + Clones. The whole point of the deck is to either deck your opponents, or deck yourself with Lab Maniac in play. Playing so many clones makes for an extremely versatile deck - I don't need to run big beaters or awesome combo cards, I can just copy them when someone else plays them!

But all is not lost if playing against creatureless decks. Cards like Stormtide Leviathan and Scourge of Fleets are both very tasty wincons in a pinch. Psychic Spiral is in to shuffle the graveyard back into the library if needed, and in the process potentially milling someone out. Patron of the Moon gets out of hand with all the card draw - it's so easy to just dump tons of land onto the board.

Running light on counterspells (for a mono blue deck at least), the goal of the game is to just help people draw into what they hope are wincons, only to end up getting bounced, milled, discarded, or generally just gotten rid of, but never really making the deck itself a huge target. It even has cards to combat infinite creature hordes, like Aetherize, Aetherspouts, and Mirror Match.

Kira, Great Glass-Spinner can really help protect your own creatures, but also greatly hinders cloning your own creatures, so isn't played unless someone is running a lot of targeted removal.
