This is the Captain Sisay EDH deck that I've been working on since around 2010 I think? I built it, lost a bunch, tweaked it, lost even more, then continued tweaking it, until I arrived at a core that was a tool box deck that allows me to search my deck almost every turn for something powerful. I was pretty pleased when legacy Maverick showed itself to be a contender for a while using many of the cards in Sisay; I took it as a sign I was on the right track to making a deck that was competitive for the rather cutthroat EDH environment I began playing in.

Current Iteration:
Maximizing the enchantment synergies due to Sythis, Harvest's Hand being printed and playing more generically good commander cards for a change - Helm of the Host, The Great Henge, and Guardian Project.

Here is a collection of strategies I have played in the past. Some of them I cut because I was tired of the play pattern. Sisay is just good at recreating the same play patterns, so I feel the need to switch things up to keep it fresh for myself.
- Playing a pile of reserved list cards for the hell of it: Recycle, Preacher, Willow Satyr
- Hokori, Dust Drinker to put my opponent in a choke hold while I continue tutoring up a land each turn with Sisay, untapping Gaea's Cradle each turn to accrue a tempo advantage
- Mindslaver and Bow of Nylea
- Tutor for Karn Liberated and just nuke lands
- Kataki, War's Wage was just too back breaking some of the time.
- Tutor for Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger and just nuke lands

Ideas I have but haven't tried yet:
I toyed with the idea of Heliod, God of the Sun because of the favorable interactions between the Sanctum, Heliod, and Cradle. There is perhaps now an argument for Oath of Nissa, Growing Rites of Itlimoc  , Legion's Landing  , and Oath of Gideon to create a strong link between cradle and sanctum synergies.

Another direction that I thought would be fun exactly 1 time is Primal Surge, Ugin's Nexus, Grand Abolisher, and Epic Struggle - coupled with removing all instants and sorceries from the deck.
