Great Deck!!! Thinking of buying and playing at my local scene. Mabey a bit more lifegain cards to keep your life total high?

Elixer of Immortality would be a good way to keep your cards that you sacrifice or any cards that your opponents destroy.

If you are looking for budget lifegain, your best options are Whip of Erebos and Exsanguinate

Great pictures on the primer! Also nice job using a cheap dude that I always just ignore when thinking about EDH as a viable commander. +1

How the deck wins usually?

Pallino

The general overall plan of this deck is to kill creatures and swing your own creatures sideways. Since this deck plays so much removal, you shouldn't have a problem killing off creatures that become problematic.

There are two other ways this deck can win the game, the first one is to win by draining with Gray Merchant of Asphodel, which can be helped by it dying and returning via any of our recursion effects.

The second way to win the game is to use Revel in Riches and then wrath the board, which should allow you to win on your upkeep unless someone has enchantment removal for you.

Cabal Stronghold from Dominaria, just saying this card is nuts if you run most if not all basics for this card to turn into Coffers that also taps for colorless

Lavashot449: i wouldnt exactly call Cabal Stronghold "nuts". you gotta have 5 basic swamps before you get more mana out of it than what you put into it. which means you'll have a minimum of 6 lands. so without land ramp, you're lookin at turn 6 just to profit 1 mana.

Thanks for the suggestion, forgot to put that one in. I'll probably slot it in on the upgrades

It's no coffers, but it is budget, and if it were to be slotted in here it would not be the worst.

Would Demons Horn not be a good life gain?

While you could certainly play it, I think there are better options, something like Whip of Erebos would do well.

Entreat the Dead could be considered for a sideboard? With all the card draw, this could be some cool support

Do you have a non-budget version of this deck

May 16, 2019 7:29 p.m.

Sargeras says... #18

Dinad22 I personally don't, but if you are looking for suggestions you can just use the upgrades and options tab. Honestly, the deck wants a good manabase and some better ramp. You can then go in any direction you want from there.

A few ideas. Some better then others. Realized late 20 dollars is super low like 30 cents a card so some might be too much.

Thanks for the suggestions, out of all those I think only Death Tyrant and Kaervek, the Spiteful would really make the list, since everything really wants that instant utility in this deck.

If you have other suggestions, let me know what your logic would be for cuts in the deck already, as the main gameplan of the deck is to ramp while playing tons of spot removal to stay ahead and then drop fat removal bomb demons and swing sideways for the kill.
