It's interesting playing this deck, because a lot of the time i'm not doing anything. With most EDH decks i don't often sit on lots of untapped mana, especially outside of blue. But the strategy here is to have access to as much mana as possible (including the use of things like Mana Flare, Caged Sun, Gauntlet of Power, and Extraplanar Lens.) and to put a couple counters on Ashling on each opponent's turn as mana allows. With ways to multiply damage, Ashling's explosion can be quite destructive. It's particularly excellent at dealing with creatures, and with Repercussion out, can easily kill anyone with a few creatures out. A few artifacts to give me a bit of lifegain help keep me slightly higher than my opponents (and one of the equipment that gives Ashling lifelink pretty much makes for insanity... things like 100+ life from a single burn. Ohohoho)
