Entry level budget series.

Dromoka, the Eternal requires that Dragons or Changelings be on the board, and be attacking, in order for the Bolster mechanic to fire. Although cards like Shields of Velis Vel can augment this requirement, the player will mostly be trying to drop at least 2-4 dragons, and simulating Dromoka's effect through other spells. Affordable dragons are actually quite expensive when it comes to casting cost. The player will be forced to spend early game ramping with Ainok Guide , Caravan Vigil , Far Wanderings , Map the Wastes , Nissa's Pilgrimage, Peregrination, Rampant Growth, Sylvan Scrying, Darksteel Ingot, Dromoka Monument , Manalith, Selesnya Keyrune , Selesnya Signet, and Spectral Searchlight.

Counters are the primary mechanic. Abzan Battle Priest, Abzan Falconer, Ainok Bond-Kin , Armorcraft Judge, Crowned Ceratok , Elite Scaleguard, Gladehart Cavalry , Longshot Squad, Tuskguard Captain , and the like all greatly benefit counters.

Ring of Kalonia , Ring of Thune , Contagion Clasp, Ainok Guide , Dragonscale General , Dromoka Captain , Joraga Auxiliary , Meadowboon , Obsessive Skinner , Patron of the Valiant , Servant of the Scale, Citadel Siege, Durable Handicraft, Echoes of the Kin Tree , Retreat to Kazandu , Solidarity of Heroes , Incremental Growth , and Shoulder to Shoulder are designed to augment Dromoka, allowing the player to keep counters flowing when Dromoka isn't triggering.
