This deck is part of a US$10.00 budget format. This budget encompasses the mainboard and the sideboard (everything but traditional basic lands), so it makes for a very interesting deckbuilding challenge.

This deck is a pure home brew, inspired by the inexpensive Empty the Pits, and its synergy with Stinkweed Imp. It's designed to be very tech-y (complicated), and squeeze value out of each card, as they work together like a well phyrexian-oiled machine.

Ultimately, you want to get Stinkweed Imp in your graveyard and start abusing the dredge ability on him to fill it. The graveyard works like a second hand to the pilot, granting access to powerful creatures (I'm looking at you Ghoulsteed)and light removal (Crippling Fatigue). In order to put our Imp in the graveyard, we need to either by self mill (Dredge & Codex Shredder), or utilize one of our many discard outlets. But Imps not the only thing that wants to be discarded. In fact, most of the deck wants to be! Madness makes some of our guys cheaper, and Empty the Pits eats the graveyard in the mid-game to throw out an army. Warning: This deck requires a LOT of getting used to.

The deck probably still needs a bit of tweaking. It doesn't do a whole lot if you don't get the graveyard online, and it has a lot of questionable hands. Needs thorough testing, for sure.
