Maybeboard

A deck based around the admittedly wacky card, Spellweaver Helix. Imprinting a large, powerful spell and a small, recurrable one allow you to fire off the powerful effect again and again!

Raven's Crime has many uses. Thanks to Retrace, it is one of your main options for a cheap, replayable sorcery. Once it is imprinted on the Helix, it's just one mana and a discarded land to trigger - and it has an effect, too, of course! It can disrupt your opponent in the early game, but (if you need to) you can target yourself to discard an expensive sorcery.

Mystic Speculation is an all-star here. It is probably an even better option than Raven's Crime for imprinting on the Helix - you don't have to rely on drawing extra lands, just drop 3 mana to buy it back and you're gold. It is also good for drawing into whatever you need, of course - such as the Helix. Scrying for 3 every turn means you'll practically be able to pick your draws.

Demonic Collusion is a slow card, but one must be understanding of self-recurring tutors. It lets you grab any combo pieces you might need to set up, and the buyback cost even lets you discard some sorceries along the way. It also makes for a decent "big card" to imprint on the Helix, since with patience, it will let you fetch another Helix and any two cards you want to imprint on it.

Fabricate is there to grab you the Helix - don't bother imprinting it if you already have one out. Having multiple helixes isn't bad, but you can also fetch the Steel Hellkite if you already have a helix set up.

Compulsive Research is naturally for drawing into what you need and discarding sorceries if you can. Again, not for imprinting.

Absorb Vis is one of the "big guns" to stick on the Helix. It's not the most amazing effect for wrapping up the game, but 4 life adds up pretty quickly. Most importantly, it has the important distinction of having cycling! You don't even need to cast it to get it in your graveyard: cycle it to search out a land early on, then stick it on the helix later.

Time Warp - now we're talking! This plus mystical speculation on the Helix can essentially mean infinite turns - try to mess up when you have that in your favour. Plus, at five mana, it is a card you can concievably play before imprinting.

Sorin's Vengeance - FINISH HIM!!!

Panoptic Mirror is basically a better Spellweaver Helix, yes. But that's not what the deck is about! Nonetheless, one is in here for fun, so if you want infinite turns the easy way, have at 'er.

Steel Hellkite is that one finishing creature you can pull if you need it. It can beat your opponent to death once you have infinite turns, can blow up unwanted permanents, and can be fabricated for. Solid!

Fog Bank hopefully helps to keep you alive while you're setting up.

Dakmor Salvage ensures you draw a land every turn for Raven's Crime. Still, if you're dredging it to fuel a string of Time Warps on the helix, remember that your library is a finite resource! That said, it also has the potential benefit of dredging some sorceries for you, and it's a great pick for Compulsive Research to discard. Plus, it does just tap for black.

Academy Ruins can recur a Helix if you accidentally mill it off or discard it. It can also work if one is destroyed, but keep in mind you'll need to get two spells for it to imprint again. Plus, it can bring back your Hellkite all day.

Nephalia Drownyard is another way to win if you net infinite turns. Just mill your opponent on each of your turns, then when his library is empty, graciously let him take another turn. How generous! It can also mill you in the hopes of ditching some nice sorceries, but that's less reliable than trying to play or discard them.
