What does it mean to have to power of dragons bend to your will? I am not sure, but this is a Scion of the Ur-Dragon deck that lets you play cards with dragons on them. All grandiose musings aside, this deck is a LOT of fun to play. A good opening hand will have one of two scenarios. 1.) at least 3 land, and all colors accounted for through land and banners. By doing this, you can get out Scion of the Ur-Dragon and start tailoring the game to your needs. 2.) have at least 3 lands and a matching legendary dragon in your hand. These dragons are good enough to be played without needing the commander (though the commander helps dictate tempo and game direction), so if you have the ability to get out a legendary dragon and run the board with it for a while, go for it.

Surprisingly, for being a toolbox deck, there is no search outside of the commander and Conflux. I assure you this was an intentional design choice, meant to keep the games varied and fun. The only other thing close to non commander creature find in this deck is Heroes' Podium, which just digs for legendary creatures.

While there is only one true combo in this deck (Aggravated Assault + Savage Ventmaw ), there are a few cards that synergize well together. Dragon Broodmother + Rith, the Awakener , Dragon Broodmother + Scourge of Valkas , Scourge of Valkas + Utvara Hellkite , and some fun ways to manipulate the commander to make a 12/12 Balefire Dragon...
