The first commander deck I ever built. Control_Magic.dec with Dragonlord Silumgar at the helm. Deck is probably a 4, maybe a 5 at best.

Lessons Learned:

• In EDH, power level is subjective. You really need a group of people who will play decks at the same power level for the format to be fun
• A deck being for EDH is not a reason to play bad cards
• Sometimes, you just gotta have fun, even if it's not fun for your opponents (that said, don't be a jerk about it)
• Dragonlord Silumgar is the best dragonlord, and one of my favorite magic cards at that

Original Description is down below, just to remember how hilariously innocent I was when I built this deck :D.

This deck is not fun. For your opponents! Here is your strategy: steal your opponent's stuff, sacrifice it, then rinse and repeat. Or, if it's something good, use it to your advantage! In all seriousness, this deck is fun to pilot, and is great if you're the control guy at your group, or if you like playing annoying decks (both of which describe me). ESPECIALLY Fun stuff in deck:

Grave Pact / Dictate of Erebos + Opponent's Grave Pact / Dictate of Erebos + Any Sacrifice Outlet = Board Wipe

Deadeye Navigator paired with Deathbringer Regent : Blink Deadeye Navigator , blink Regent in response, regent comes in and kills everything else, Deadeye comes in.

Black Market + Dictate of Erebos / Grave Pact = a TON of mana

Evil Twin copying an annoying commander = Commander lockout until Twin is dead

Jalira, Master Polymorphist = SO MUCH VALUE

Daring Thief = Politics!

Crypt Ghast + Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth = 2 mana from every land!

Cards you can get away with cutting that I put in the deck for my own reasons:

• Fancy Landbase

• Willbreaker (if you're running more targeted spells and abilities though, this is a MUST)

• Dust Bowl for another land destruction card

• Academy Ruins (this card is mainly to play against artifact removal)

• Chromatic Lantern for another mana rock/land

• Command Beacon because this deck really just uses Silumgar to continually steal stuff, unlike voltron deck

• Icefall Regent (I just put this card in because it was part of an old standard deck of mine)
