I agree that you don't want Jace in here. some stuff to consider possibly, although probably not, is Curse of Misfortunes or Courtly Provocateur to force counters onto your dragon.

Well actually another thing I don't know if Curse of the Nightly Hunt Would be great. How does it playtest?
This would be a perfect deck for Talrand, Sky Summoner , maybe?
Also I would drop some number of Magmaquake for Bonfire of the Damned ; it's a much stronger spell imo.

I don't think Jace is a good choice here. He's not really a control card, hes just sort of mediocre mill. Chandra, the Firebrand
would even be a better choice actually. You could double spells and use her as spot removal for 1/1s. +1 for fun deck. check out my deck please!
