Prison Term is slow, expensive, and doesn't completely deal with the threat. Wing Shards is expensive and rather limited. 1-drop instant-speed removal is better, especially with your mana curve.
Replace Alabaster Dragon with Bogardan Hellkite .
Protection against red? On what?
Bogardan Hellkite is great. It does a great deal of damage just on ETB, then stays around as a reasonably large threat.
With your mana curve, you might just want to go RG and do some mana ramping to get to your dragons faster... Alternatively, you could go Naya for ramp spells and Fastbond while retaining the removal spells.
Oh RG would defiantly be faster but everyone i play with runs green for acceleration i find it boring. I wanted a RW dragon deck because its different and the solo rings do a pretty good job of mana acceleration. TBH i still think that hellkite isn't that great for 8 unless your running a dragon storm combo. I would rather run the the dragon for 8 in the sideboard because it can kill off annoying ground creatures without needing to tap. I agree with you that Akroma's is expensive but i haven't been able to find an alternative to give my creatures haste/vigilance that would really save me much cost. I also feel like lots of white decks have protection against red so i run the white dragons to help counter that. This is a real life deck so it runs against lots of white/blue decks.
Naya is the name of one of the Shards of Alara (you need to know a bit of the lore to know that). It represents the color combination RGW, or red/green/white.
Plane cards are used in the gametype planechase.
You could run boardwipes like Slagstorm or Day of Judgment to clear the battlefield while you're still setting up for your creatures.
Look at Furyborn Hellkite , Hellkite Charger , and Moltensteel Dragon .
Land Tax is not so much mana acceleration as it is a guarantor of mana availability. It doesn't actually allow you to have more mana per turn, but it makes sure you never miss a land drop. It's not bad if you aren't running green, since missing a land drop would cost you a lot when you're building up.
Lightning Bolt and Lightning Helix are pretty common Boros (RW) cards.
Intimidation Bolt and Powerstone Minefield can protect you against aggro for a while.
I like the idea of a white and red dragon deck! Pretty original :)
My suggestion would be to remove the 3 Crucible of Fire s, cause your dragons will already be bigger than most other creatures, and I'd replace Land Tax with faster acceleration like Palladium Myr , Worn Powerstone or Thran Dynamo . Maybe replace 4 of your lands for 4 Boros Garrison . Its slower because it comes into play tapped but it keeps you from missing a land drop the next turn (slower, but an extra mana in the long run). Last suggestion, though I'm not really sure it would make the deck better, but I really like the card card:Orim's Thunder (instead of Disenchant maybe?). The CMC is higher but if youve got the mana its a 2 for 1 cause it kills a creature at the same time.
Just ideas.
PS: You don't have any goblins... How do you intend on feeding all those dragons?? ;)
TBH I can normally drop a dragon at T3-T5 With the Lightning Greaves sometimes T2. I dont think it will get any faster haha. I do like Land Tax cause it allows me to search for the color of land I need. if I have a Land Tax in my starting hand and hope to go second so I can activate the ability and search on T2 for the land I need for the cards in my hand. I do like the Crucible of Fire because if I drop a dragon later then normal it will be stronger. Maybe I'll drop one Crucible of Fire . Can't You play Boros Garrison on T1 and not return a land to your hand? But the card:Orim's Thunder isn't a bad idea If I have the extra mana its definitely worth it against a creature deck.I do love the Boro colors and ya I dont see many W/R Dragon decks. But it gives me all the perks of white with nasty dragons. I wish WofC would release some new white dragons so I can put them in! haha most white dragons suck :( My deam card would be a card for W/R W/R that gives all creatures you can control Vigilance and Haste.I have to keep lots of goblins handy so the dragons dont get grumpy haha.
Lolll yeah a boros-colored dragon would be cool, but I doubt well be getting any dragon in Return to Ravnica except Niv-Mizzet, since they're relatively extinct. But... if we're lucky... :) Btw no, you cant play the Boros Garrison the first turn, or itll have to return itself to your hand since it will be the only land you have. But hey, at least I found you a white dragon-related card that gives vigilance: Dragon Scales ! It returns from the grave and attaches itself to your dragons so its like a free equipment. Maybe instead of a Crucible of Fire ? Happy dragon-breeding :)
I Know he's not a dragon, but what about Dragonmaster Outcast

Epochalyptik says...
Drop Ray of Distortion and use Disenchant .
Wing Shards should be replaced with Swords to Plowshares or Path to Exile . Same with Prison Term . This speeds up your removal and lowers its cost.
What about Dragonspeaker Shaman ?
I don't know about card:Akroma's Memorial. You already have a lot of high-cost cards, and you don't want to push your mana curve past where it needs to be.
