This deck's goal is to be under $300 (preferably $200) and still be competitive. I fell in love with doran, the siege tower and abzan is my favorite color wedge, and one of my favorite colors to run. The deck's goal isn't to be treefolk tribal, but to play high toughness creatures with utility (Fleece-nyx ram, spellskite) and turn them into effective beaters. Doran is a really powerful card and being able to run 4 spellskite mainboard makes it easier to protect him.
