Don't touch my Stubby Vine

Modern Aggro Midrange RUG (Temur)

Dspignatari

Sideboard

Hey Everyone,

I absolutely love the Vengevine and Hollow One idea. I really thought there was something viable here, but I didn't like the original r/g version with Become Immense and Temur Battlerage

The basic idea behind the deck is to discard Vengevine and trigger into play and be aggressive. Or you use all of your looting to create cheap or free Hollow Ones. A Faithless Looting and a Street Wraith can mean a free turn 1 Hollow One

Continuing on with the creature suite is hooting mandrils , Vexing Devil and Goblin Guide. All are essentially 1 drops that trigger vine. Delving 5 cards away on turn 2 is pretty easy with this deck.

4 out of the 5 creatures have one thing in common. We are playing 15 creatures that we can cast for 1 or less mana with power = 4. Enter my addition of Stubborn Denial. The possibilities are really endless here. Opponent let's Vexing Devil enter because they have removal? Stubborn Denial

I mentioned Faithless Looting already as an enabler. But I also cut Cathartic Reunion for Izzet Charm. Cathartic Reunion is better on turn 2. It's a cantrip as well as a looter. Every other time however, Izzet Charm shines brighter. The utility mid game is amazing.
