Artifacts and Planewalkers. My favourite deck.

The big idea is to build up mana base using mana artifacts, and once enough mana, dominate the game using high cost spells. Grim Monolith, Thran Dynamo helps for colorless ramp, helping cast Gilded Lotus.

They key land besides mana ramping locuses is Cascading Cataracts. It turns 5 mana into 5 mana of any color combination I happen to need.

With all the mana artifacts I have, Paradox Engine allows me to cast all cards in my hand. Add a Staff of Domination in, and I can potentially draw my whole deck and cast all spells.

Since I run high cost planewalkers and other spells, Sunbird's Invocation is crazy. It lets me filter late game the top X cards and pick the spells I want to cast instead. If not a planewalker, then maybe another mana rock.

Since I run so many planewalkers, it helps if I have Doubling Season on the battlefield. It's crazy when I can activate Ugin, the Spirit Dragons ultimate as soon as I put him out.

To survive early game, I have nothing but Prayer. Early-mid can in theory be handled with Ensnaring Bridge, but typically some creatures slip through. Once I have enough mana, I can cast a Inferno Titan which immediately burns any small creatures and also presents as a big pumpable threat. Quite often I manage to float a lot of mana, turn it red, and use his add +1/0 until end of turn - ability to hit an hapless opponent with around 16 damage + 3 when it attacks which can clear out small defenders or burn the opponent if he's defenseless.

Mastermind's Acquisition was a dream come true for this deck. Grabs any card from either my sideboard or the main deck.
