This is a semi-budget merfolk deck. Right now it can be gotten on tcgplayer for about $125. It is a tempo-aggro deck that in the beginning plays value cards, like Silvergill Adept, and uses protection like Sygg, Rievr Guide and Spellskite until it can amass a big enough army of mefolk to kill your opponent with islandwalk. The decklist itself is pretty straight forward, so I'm going to go over sideboard.

• Ghostly Prison is for against either deck with islands, in which case it will be swapped out for Sea's Claim

• Hurkyl's Recall and Kataki, War mage are for affinity, merfolk's worst match up.

• Judge of Currents is meant to go against long combos, trying to keep building your health so it has the least effect against us.

Some questionable choices have been made when making this deck. To prevent me being asked in the comments, here's why I made them:

• First of all, I'm running Sea's Claim over Spreading Seas. This is because of the mana difference, and there are better things this deck can be doing turn 2.

• Sygg, River Guide is being run for budget reasons, but if you don't have the same problem some good options would be Kira, Great Glass-Spinner or Cursecatcher

• Summon the School is being run because of the value we can get from it, and because I like the card. It can potentially give us some okay vanilla blockers we don't mind losing, and we can do it as many times as we want. If you don't like it, I would again swap it out for Kira or Cursecatcher.
