Based around the Amonkhet negative counters effects, Divine Agony uses -1/-1 counters to weaken creatures and keep the opponent's field empty, while using Nest of Scarabs and Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons to keep any remaining monsters from attacking by supplying more Scarabs and Deathtouch Snakes. Once enough Scarabs are on the field, use Samut to give them all haste, and Temple of the God-Pharoah deals additional damage in the end step for lethal damage. In addition, Hapatra's Mark removes any -1/-1 counters on your own creatures, Haze of Pollen protects you from any damage, and Harsh Mentor penalizes opponents who try to overuse enchantments and creature abilities.
