Competitive against faster decks update —July 31, 2018
Removed:
- Mulldrifter because good when alone, but considering our "tutor", we can make stronger draw combos
- Herbal Poultice because usually its dead weigh on battlefield. One time regen for 3 is bad.
- Rewind usually we have nothing to do with 4 untapped lands on instant after we countered some spells.
- Thought Vessel don't give me colored mana and we usually don't have 10+ cards on hand
- Scribe of the Mindful for too slow (sickness)
- Kozilek's Channeler for being too slow for ramp
- Impulse for too weak on late game
Added:
- Street Wraith to tutor CMC5 cards
- Snuff Out and Crypt Rats as removals against ultra fast decks
- Explorer's Scope back, because strong opponents dont let you win at turn 5 and you have more time
- Gitaxian Probe as "free" way to see if i should prepare counterspells when want to win
- Sunscorched Desert as alternative win condition after Drake/Archeomancer/Flicker combo
- Expedition Map To search Dimir Aqueduct or Sunscorched Desert
- Forge of Heroes to protect Disciple
- Pestermite as new combo piece and nice "swizz army knife"
- Tolarian Winds as emergency draw
- Submerged Boneyard

MagicBlues Thanks for appreciation and suggestions!
Artifact land is great variant for Trinket Mage. Added!
Cerulean Wisps is nice too for second thought, but i dont know what to change for it. Maybe i should remove Golem Foundry, because infinity golems is cool, but still without haste it useless.Refocus and Immobilizing Ink is too mana expensive. It wouldn't help to untap her at 2-3 turn. And second discarding cards, that i usually have not so much.

I've never been one who really enjoys combo decks, but I've got to give you that +1 for how powerful and sophisticated this deck seems. Kudos dude.

truble I discovered, that its great for control decks - if you not spend mana on counterspells, you can spend them on recursion.

Yeah, it is an effect that they do not print at common usually so I'm very happy.

I really like your deck and the presentation of its combos. Here are some cards you could consider to run:
Untap:
- Cerulean Wisps
- Refocus
- Immobilizing Ink
Tap:- Ghastly Discovery
Survival:You could also consider to add Seat of the Synod and Vault of Whispers to extend your Trinket Mage package.
