This is an Atraxa, Praetors' Voice deck that uses +1/+1 counters a support focus to strengthen your creatures that are difficult to remove and deal with. Many of the creatures have keywords involving: Deathtouch, Double Strike, First Strike, Flying, Haste, Hexproof, Indestructible, Lifelink, Reach, Trample, and Vigilance. Because of this Odric, Lunarch Marshal most of the time becomes your win condition so tutoring him becomes a primary concern. Having Odric and Atraxa out becomes a pain for to deal with and adding +1/+1 counters to your keyword creatures quickly overwhelms your opponents.

The deck doesn't necessarily need Odric to win since your creatures will be such a pain to remove and deal with that by the time you do get Odric your opponents are barely standing. The reasoning behind the lack of proliferate engine in the deck is because the deck already has a lot of +1/+1 counter placement that adding the weak proliferate cards slows the deck down.
