Dimir Surveil (Budget-Rotation Proof)

When the Surveil mechanic was previewed last year, I immediately wanted to build a deck around the mechanic. The problem was that, the card that I liked - Doom Whisperer and some Surveil cards had a high price tag on it. Doom Whisperer price only bottomed out early this year. I quickly picked it up when it was around 4USD then finally built this deck.

The deck is a bit of mix bag of tempo-ey, midrange-ey, controlling spells and will win thru creature damage. Most of spells have Surveil or will benefit from it except Nightveil Predator .

Nightveil Predator is just a personal favorite of mine that I wanted to jam on this deck.

I split Price of Fame with Unexplained Disappearance , this was a preference because of my kitchen table meta.

Dismal Backwater is here for budget reasons and should be replaced with Watery Grave .

For a more aggro package, Whispering Snitch and/or Dazzling Lights can be added then remove the high costed Surveil spells.
