This is a tempo/control based deck. Freebooter takes spells, stormtamer protects your creatures, and you from certain spells like settle the wreckage, hostage taker takes their stuff late game, while warkite frog's any big creatures, gets rid of gods, rekindling pheonix, and other recurring creatures, dreamcaller is able to stop most attacks for a turn while u get a 3/3 flyer, harvester has a big but and is flying, with possible lifelink, there are only 4 creatures that are not pirates, so you get to mana leak for 4, and running favorable winds you got 19 flyers, with 2 in the side. while favorable winds uts this deck on lock, it still does decent without 1. The sideboard is for counter aggro, and counter control, with a few combat tricks like siren's ruse to get etb effects like hostage taker, free booter, dreamcaller, and dire fleet, and march of the drwned basics says play 1 b, tutor for 2 pirate creatures. Nimble, lost, negate, and duress are for counter magic for control, and some for aggro.
