This deck combines control and pinging in ways that make for a winning combination. Black actually has stronger deathtouchers in pauper than green, and they are all humans, allowing us to make use of Bladed Bracers .

Attach Viridian Longbow , Hermetic Study , or Psionic Gift to a deathtoucher to ping Deathtouch damage. Use Trinket Mage to tutor up the Longbow, artifact lands, or even Bladed Bracers , it can also tutor sideboard cards like Relic of Progenitus for games 2 and 3.

Use Muddle the Mixture to protect your creatures or transmute for a Hermetic Study , Psionic Gift , Thrill-Kill Assassin or Hidden Strings .

The Cipher ability on Hidden Strings is very useful in this deck.
