Worship the indestructible Thassa, God of the Sea. Give her devotion, hexproof, and make her unblockable for 21 commander damage; all as quickly as possible!!! (the main goal here is to win 1:1 matches on turn 8 or 9)

By only having 6 non-devotion cards in the deck, Thassa is sure to get her Devotion early and consistently (usually turn 4-5)

Scrying before every draw is very powerful; starting on turn 4 every game.

at an Avg CMC of ~2.5, this deck is pretty quick. By only running permanents, this is a very different kind of Mono Blue deck; Aggro & without instants!

With 26 Merfolk and 25 Wizards; the tribal sub-theme adds great synergy AND devotion.
