This is a devotion to Green deck looking to ramp off Kinnan’s and Leylines. With the help of those cards and cards like Nissa, you can use Wakeroot and Nykthos to produce infinite mana for the Wakeroot swing, or for a large genesis wave. Wave may seem like a gimmick, but it can produce great boardstates, allowing for the combo out of nowhere, or even hitting something like Eternal Witness or Tamiyo to grab another wave, and do it all again on the same turn. Wave for 5 is the bare minimum, 6 hits everything and allows for the combo to continue typically. Even without the combo, the board states you can ramp out often allow enough power to hammer empty boards. The sideboard needs help, Veils and Interventions are mandatory inclusions, the rest is up for debate.

I have been about .500 through 4 modern leagues. The first (5th) league I was trying a Snyorion type build, using Wave for value and maindecking Veil, but I often had too many dead cards.
