This is my final attempt at an elf deck, without Nissa, Vastwood Seer
, Chord of Calling and Collected Company.
This deck is about swarming the board with elves and theb playing Gather the Pack to get a Shaman of the Pack to either kill them or basically kill them, if they survive that i will play a Dwynen, Gilt-Leaf Daen then kill them with my bigger elves for the game. I used Might of the Masses on the little creatures when they didn't get blocked and made them for a 4/4 up to a 6/6 most of the time and won.
This is how FNM went- first match up was against a very quick hard to handle U/R artifact deck, first game i hade her down to 7 life and she had me down to 10 then sacrificed 2 thopter tokens and killed me with 2 shrapnel blasts. 2nd round i sideboarded in 2x Stain the Mind and 2x Eyeblight Massacre, i took out her hanger back walkers with a stain the mind, had her down to 5 life and me down to 15, then put out 2x Chief of the Foundrys and a bunch of thopter tokens and i didn't have any answers for things in the air and she killed me. lost 0-2
my second match up was against orzhov warriors- i won the first game pretty easily using 2x Shaman of the Packs and then brought out a Dwynen, Gilt-Leaf Daen and killed him. game 2 he kept on sacking his bloodsoaked champions with Blood-Chin Fanatics ability and killed me. game 3 was pretty close i had him down to 5 and he had me down to 7 and if i attack no matter what he blocked he would have to take 5. won 2-1
my 3rd match up was against mono-red goblin aggro- first game i had him down to 10 then he played a Goblin Piledriver ad killed me easily, game 2 he was stuck on 1 land the whole game and i killed him with a Dwynen, Gilt-Leaf Daen, game three was pretty close had him down to 9 and he killed me with a couple of goblin piledriverss. he didnt have any Goblin Rabblemasters
last match i got a bye :)
But overall had a very fun night playing it for the first time, i had playtested it against all sorts of decks.
