A Modern Deck I'm making for just casual play. Trying to keep it 60-80ish dollars. I already have Ob Nixilis. The goal here is black devotion, with Gary/Gray Merchant of Asphodel and Erebos, God of the Dead. A lot of my creatures can be brought back, so that their devotion is always present.

OVERVIEW:Bloodsoaked Champion is a pretty good one drop, and can be recast. If you're going non-budget, try Gravecrawler.

Despise and Duress are good hand control spells and allow me to gain card advantage, to an extent. Non-Budget: Inquisition of Kozilek and Thoughtseize.

Nether Traitor has evasion and can also be recast. Gatekeeper of Malakir is removal. Non-Budget: Bloodghast

Geralf's Messenger Burns for 2, gives 3 devotion, and comes back from death.More cards to be added.
