Hi, I'm wanting to get better at Magic. Specifically deck building. I saw Descendants' Path and realized I could synergize it with Changelings!
I also added Drift of Phantasms for a decent 0/5 flyer, but to also transmute either my Descendants' Path or Paradox Haze into my hand.
One of my favorite interactions in this deck is the interaction with Cream of the Crop
+
Descendants' Path
+
Paradox Haze
Since if they're all on the field, Descendants' can let me play a large creature (say perhaps Emrakul, the Aeons Torn) Then, using Cream of the Crop I can look at the next 15 cards, maybe find another Emrakul, the Aeons Torn and then place it ontop. Paradox Haze activates Descendants' Path again, letting me draw that second Eldrazi, all in one turn. I think it's fun.
The gameplan isn't too hard to understand.Have Elvish Harbinger to tutor out my Woodland Changeling. Then I scry my way into my Descendants' Path/bombs.Using Paradox Haze to double what I pull.
T1 : Island/Yavimaya Coast > Index or Mothdust Changeling
T2 : Forest/Island > Cream of the Crop or Index
+
Mothdust Changeling
or Taigam's Scheming. or Woodland Changeling
T3 : Any Land > Descendants' Path
T4 : ??? Profit
Generally drawing a bomb isn't bad either since I can build quite a decent ramp quickly. This isn't as competitive as I wish it was but I think it's a fun idea.Although I'd like some suggestions as to what I should use as bombs. And also, if I draw into a bomb I would like to put onto the field, I use effects like Survivor of the Unseen to put it back on the top for my next upkeep. Suggestions would be nice and appreciated! Links to similar decks are always helpful too so I can see what's already been used and how well they are in their respective meta's!
