Being a player since 1995, this is my very first deck including blue; its built for a friend of mine, who hates blue, too. But: We both like birds and the best birds are blue. For ages Kangee, Aerie Keeper has been the only multi-coulered commander bird, but recently Derevi, Empyrial Tactician started her tactics with her swarm of roacs, owls, and wizards! I tried to keep the budget low. Maybeboard is huge - honestly, it is a maybeboard...

Deck hasnt been tested that much, yet. It is mainly a fun deck, some control elements and some wizards are included to benefit from Derevi's untapping abilitiy. Countering sucks, so there are no counterspells included. And cards like Winter Orb and Stasis suck, too. Any other comments are welcome! I spent a lot of effort to include sufficient green cards, as there are almost no green birds in Magic at all (which still seems wired to me).

I fear that the deck lacks blocking and removal opportunities. Do you agree? Any suggestions?
