Budget Thopter Depths

Cards:

Combos:

Sword of the Meek + Thopter Foundry : Pretty straight forward, have the sword out and repeatedly sacrifice it to the foundry to get one life and one 1/1 for each time.

Dark Depths + Vampire Hexmage : Sacrifice the vampire to immediately remove all of the counters from Depths to get a 20/20.

Removal/Disruption:

Inquisition of Kozilek: Get rid of a threat from your opponent's hand.

Swords to Plowshares: Exile a creature for one mana.

Meddling Mage : Stops your opponent from casting their most dangerous cards.

Pithing Needle: Stops your opponent from using whatever is most important

Ratchet Bomb: I like this better than Engineered Explosives even though it is slower. Bomb can destroy things with higher casting cost than explosives and costs less, mana and budget-wise.

Counterspell/ Spell Snare : Pretty self-explanatory.

Other:

Brainstorm: Helps me dig for whatever combo pieces I need.

Baleful Strix: Makes the opponent think with deathtouch, draws me a card and flies.

Supreme Verdict: Just in case.

Apostle's Blessing: Protects Marit Lage whenever she gets out or protects one of the vital artifacts.

Lands:

Academy Ruins: Gets me back whatever artifact that I need that has been removed for some reason.

Underground Sea : The only reason this is in here is because I just happened to have one.

Watery Grave/Hallowed Fountain: Replacements for Underground Sea and Tundra, respectively.

Creeping Tar Pit: Turns into an unblockable 3/2.

Tolaria West: Tutours up Dark Depths for me.
