This has been my modern deck for quite sometime. Altered it a few times to keep it up to date.
Abyssal Persecutor Get this guy out, smack your opponent up and down then sacrifice him with Dreadbore or Terminate or best option Rite of Consumption that fool and double his use. Demons are meant to be abused. They like it that way.
Fists of the Demigod Speed up that killing, give em' the one two punch and heck save a demon or two with first strike withering some fools. Might I also point out lots of R/B creatures for double the benefit.
Rite of Consumption This is an easy win con if someone lets you hit when they are starting to become weak. Abyssal Persecutor rocking his boxing gloves Fists of the Demigod gets a hit off for 8 damage, then sacrifice that overconfident demon with a consumption. KER BLAP
Pyroclasm I hate tokens and weenies. Insurance. Terminate I hate everything, kill it. Dreadbore Did I mention I hate everything? I hate planeswalkers more. Kill heroes. Lightning Bolt I hate players too. Zap.
Shambling Remains Hunk of meat, throw him at your opponent. If he dies, who cares unearth him and make him do it again.
Demigod of Revenge Wow he doesn't go away. Persistent demon. My style.Avatar of Discord Discard two cards for speed? Okay how about a Shambling Remains and a Demigod of Revenge they'll be back, they love the abuse.
Singe-Mind Ogre You overrated piece of meat you. Direct damage and some beef cake to you? Okay!
Goblin Deathraiders Fast little tramplers, okay you are goblins, I don't have to tell you to die. You'll do it yourselves.
Basilisk Collar Hey why not keep the kill train going while giving a little bit of reassurance to the master? Wear this, it's stylish.
As far as dual lands are concerned, you know your shockland limits. They are beautiful here but I don't want to force the pocket pen. Kill these guys.
