This is a self-mill oriented deck whose goal is to achieve a higher overall value than our opponent through this mill.

Self-Mill Synergy

There are a lot of cards which synergize well with Self-Mill in this deck. Since this is mostly an aggro deck, we want to focus primarily on being fast. Because of this, we're using:

• Creeping Chill . This isn't a very good card on its own, but with Self-Mill, it gives us too much value to pass down

• Deathrite Shaman . Does this card really need any introduction. It's a powerful card which we can use to grind out our opponents, get more mana, or just gain us some life.

• Treasure Cruise & Dig Through Time . Delve in a self-mill. Need I say more?

• The Gitrog Monster . Lands from self-mill = extra draw power for us. It's a win!

• Scrapheap Scrounger . Returns to battlefield from graveyard. Too easy.

• Scavenging Ooze . Can get big from our cards OR disable out opponents by taking their own synergies!

• Grim Flayer . He just get big!

All of these cards are powerful within this format, and I expect this deck to be present in one way or another.

Self-Mill Enablers

All of the following cards help us to mill quickly so that we can start using our graveyard.

• Stitcher's Supplier . He used to be Hogaak, Arisen Necropolis 's best friend. Now he's ours!

• Underrealm Lich . He turns our draw into a self-milling ponder! Easy include! Synergizes super well with The Gitrog Monster too!

• Grisly Salvage . Helps us take a peak while also milling a couple cards. Not bad at all!

• Grim Flayer . His is a bit more difficult to do but is also repeatable!

• The Gitrog Monster . Technically, he isn't actually milling, but he does help us fill our graveyard with lands! Still great!

Though there aren't many, we do have quite a handful of powerful self-mill cards which can get us through early!
