Here's my version of Sultai control.

Why Sultai?

Aside from delving into a clan that hasn't received much attention, I found a lot of success with these colors in dealing with many of the meta's top decks with one simple answer: removal.

I loved Golgori control when I could pull it off last season. So what if standard took my Abrupt Decay? The new season has granted me some valid win-cons, and ways to keeping everyone in check that I can main-board!

The Creatures

Satyr Wayfinder - Allows me to hit my land counts and fuels my delve for the rest of the deck. If I need a chump blocker to save myself prior to getting some removal out, he's my man.

Hornet Queen - Extremely important card to be running in Standard. Not only can she be a win-con, but, she can also double as a lesser field wipe. Not running white in standard, this is a must-have in the deck. I commonly last until I hit 7-mana, so the high CMC doesn't bother me any.

Pearl Lake Ancient - A typical blue finisher that needs no introduction. Very good against the current meta of heavy removal.

The Control

Murderous Cut - Delve removal for one black? Solid. Debating putting more of these in.

Dissolve - Great catch-all counter spell. The scry is very nice to have too

Thoughtseize - Contemplating going to 4x as soon as I get it. It can absolutely destroy any opening hand. Best investment that I've made in magic.

Sultai Charm - Ah yes. A charm where every single mode can be serviced. Enchantment removal, mono-color removal, and draw/discard for delve at once.

Hero's Downfall - Planeswalker hate and spot removal. Nuff said.

Jace's Ingenuity - Cheap card price wise, and instant speed draw? Yes.

Crux of Fate - The board wipe card this deck needed.

Treasure Cruise - Another cheap delve card. A very nice one of, and a very nice draw tool.

AEtherspouts - Great board reset card. Always good. Destroys token based decks out-right.

Garruk, Apex Predator - Another win-condition as I feel that delve decks always tend to mill away my win-cons. Garruk will get me my win if I can protect him. Through protecting him, I can wreck all walkers and creatures the opposition can throw at me.
