Maybeboard

Deepwater Nightmares

We use a big (sea) creature themed deck combined with our commander Arixmethes, Slumbering Isle . This deck wants to ramp, draw a lot of cards and create big creatures that are either hard to remove or hard to block.

Creatures like Kiora's Follower and Voyaging Satyr help Arixmethes, Slumbering Isle to get on the board on turn 3.
We also use all 3 copies of Kiora, Kiora, Behemoth Beckoner , Kiora, the Crashing Wave and Kiora, Master of the Depths , to help us draw, ramp and search for our winconditions. For a small combo we run Freed from the Real , combined with Arixmethes, Slumbering Isle it can produce unlimited (green) mana which can set up for a big turn. I'm not a big fan of the old MTG card styles, but I do recommend using a copy of Pemmin's Aura . It loops for infinite (green) mana aswell, but does way more for the same mana cost.
Grozoth will tutor Breaching Leviathan , Inkwell Leviathan and The Great Henge to set up for a swinging turn. For deck thinning we use Traverse the Outlands to fetch us a lot of lands and Trench Gorger to empty lands from our deck.
Because we run a lot of high p/t creatures we could use sources like Return of the Wildspeaker , Rishkar's Expertise , Prime Speaker Zegana , Shamanic Revelation , Rush of Knowledge and Elemental Bond to draw us a bunch of cards.
We run Unwind , Rewind to remove a threat from the game and leave our mana open for another big spell. For board wipes we run Crush of Tentacles , Devastation Tide , Whelming Wave and Displacement Wave . These spells are one-sided most of the time or will leave us in a very good spot. Some of our creatures do have some removal sticking on it's big butt, creatures like Aethersquall Ancient , Colossal Whale , Scourge of Fleets , Kederekt Leviathan and Slinn Voda, the Rising Deep could help us stabilize the board aswell.
Our deck runs a lot of big creatures that are hard to remove or hard to block, but we do have some cards that could help these big boys to win the game faster. We run Archetype of Imagination to make all our creatures evasive to rule both the sea and sky. We run Spearbreaker Behemoth , a creature that is hard to remove that can also protect our other creatures. Rite of Replication is a powerhouse in this deck, especially if we can kick these tokens. We also run Rogue's Passage , it's a simple land, but it can do great things once we get down one of our big boys.

I'm new to MTG and consider this as my first deck ever build. I would love to recieve some feedback and I'm open to new ideas. Do consider I built this deck to play with my friends, that's why I left out some expensive competitive staples.
