A competitive Orhzov deck, with many synergistic cards. Lots of kill spells, beaters, and lifegain. Cards like Thoughtseize, Underworld Connections, and Herald of Torment cost life, but no pain no gain right? To fix this we have Whips, Blood Baron of Vizkopa, and Fiendslayer Paladin. For removal we have Duress and Thoughtseize (I only have one currently), Bile Blight (Which can kill gods), Devour Flesh (Hits Carytids and Fleecemanes), Hero's Downfall (for planeswalkers), and Ultimate Price (for weenies).Gary the Merchant Hits like a lifestealing truck with all the devotion from Desecration Demons, Whips, Heralds, Underwould Connections, and Obzedats.

So Modern launched, so there wasn't more than 12 people in Standard. I got a easy matchup vs a second time Mono Back Dev, and Blood Baron proved a rock here. Devour Fleshing my D-Demons played an important part here, as he was able to rush me frequently. 2-0 me. 1-0 overall. Next was a Red Burn w/ splash white for Boros Charm and Warleader's Helix. I was able to stabilize with Whip of Erebos both games. 2-0, me. Overall, 2-0. The next two games were a blur, but I won both 2-0. Overall,4-0. Now I was at table 1 this last game, and me and the other guy were both 4-0. we decided to draw, and play a friendly match for the $5 difference between 1st and 2nd. He was Selesnya Value Beater aggro. Voice of Resurgence, Fleece-mane Lion, Advent of the Wurm, the works. Super annoying. I suck at playing around Voice, and messed up a bunch. he took 2-1, after I Pack Rat raced game Two. he got first with a 2% higher Tiebuster percentage. ND place is nothing to laugh at. Very pleased with this deck.
