UPDATED version 2.0 of my tax deck. it needed some better overall play.

Basic concept is to ruin the opponents T1 by using an Inquisition of Kozilek , Daze , or Silence spell. Then on later, adding additional costs to all spells and eventually to only them. the way to close out the game is by pinging them down with Thalia, Guardian of Thraben and Linvala, Keeper of Silence while the board is relatively empty or when we can fetch the two game ending curses.

Daze is used as the main counter spell because its cost can be avoided by returning an island, otherwise for modern play substitute these for Unsummon or possibly Select for Inspection if you're not worried about early tap abilities.

the Simian Spirit Guide are to help avoid your own tax in the early game by exiling for the +1 mana.

Serum Visions main goal in deck management is keeping our game ending curses out of our hand so that they may be fetched later on through curse of misfortunes. Curse of Misfortunes + Overwhelming Splendor then Cruel Reality .

Karn, the Great Creator + Mycosynth Lattice as a way to fetch Mycosynth Lattice from the sideboard and locking out the player as a whole.

not sure what to do for sideboard at the moment.
