I got the idea to build a deck around Ghoulcaller Gisa from NecroPony's deck that featured Gisa at the helm and found myself returning to mono-black building this deck.

Good combos are anything that has a good ETB or LTB with Gravespawn Sovereign

A deck that mainly focuses on benefits from creature deaths, whether it be my creatures or others. Sacrificial side and not going for tribal.

Combo Ghoulcaller Gisa + Gravespawn Sovereign + Thornbite Staff and any creature with a meaty body and good ETB.

I am still a learning player who has come far, but still has farther to go, so any advice would be greatly appreciated and taken into consideration. If there are cards that you think would be a good addition, please give one or two suggestions for which cards to replace. Advice on what shouldn't e in the maybeboard is greatly appreciated as well.

My current edits being done to the deck are the Land problem. I'm currently working on building it to have NecroPony's design to optimize mana for black from Lili's Revelation (Liliana Primer). Another thing I'm in process of adding is Crucible of Worlds so I can get that land base to work. For the creature side I'm adding Phyrexian Obliterator in place of Grim Haruspex.

Last but certainly not least the name of the deck is a play on words of 'Friends with Benefits'.
