Sideboard

Maybeboard

An idea taken from my previous deck Brisela Speed/Control, which was based off of Brisela control. I liked the removal going on in the other deck but noticed it was way too slow on bringing out any substantial creatures, with the cheapest being Gisela, the Broken Blade at a 4 drop, 3 if I was lucky enough to find a Heartless Summoning by that point. So, I figured that rather than work with a lackluster mana base and a deck filled with high-cost creatures and basic removal that I'd just start the whole thing over, this time with a bit more of a death and taxes spin on things.

The main idea is still to hold down the board until we can bring out Brisela, Voice of Nightmares, at which point we should have absolute control over the entire game, as almost all removal I've faced so far with the previous deck was at 3 or less.

Originally I had both Gold Myr and dire fleet hoarder in the mainboard for acceleration and Dire Fleet for an early block into acceleration but figured the space was better used on control cards like Tidehollow Sculler and Thalia, Heretic Cathar. If you have any good acceleration ideas for this style of deck let me know.

Currently running 2 of Inquisition of Kozilek and 1 of Thoughtseize as I'm using the Inquisitions as a budget alternative until I can come across 2 more copies of Seize.

Still a WIP, will finish updating later. Any suggestions are welcome. Will finish updating the description later as well.
