The Gitrog Monster is a great and fun card engine. There are many ways to capitalizeits last ability (drawing cards when lands go to Graveyard) in the deck by milling yourself, discarding cards or even sacrificing lands.
But also Gitrog is a fairly big creature with native Deathtouch and if you combine it with trample and First Strike it will become an unstoppable steam-roller. The deck also counts with a ton of recursion and board disruption and responses.In this deck if you are not careful you can end up milling all your library and dying from not being able to draw. To avoid this I have included Elixir of Immortality, Loaming Shaman and Gaea's Blessing (which will shuffle Graveyard with Library when you mill it).
As you may have seen, I have a personal fetish with using removals that exile the target, it's pretty frustrating for me when you spend a card to remove a threat and then they keep just keep recurring it (only I can do that!) or worse, the threat is Indestructible and the card is useless against it. So I'll use exilers everytime I can to get the job done for real.

I tried intentionally not to use combos like the Skirge Familiar + Exsanguinate or the infinite Wild Mongrel with Dakmor Salvage because when I used them I found them to be boring like playing a solitarie game while everybody is watching and frankly quite unfulfilling, I took the road of smashing faces with Gitrog which I enjoy a lot more.
There are still two ways (that I'm aware of) of going infinite with this deck: With Basalt Monolith + Mesmeric Orb and Grotesque Hybrid + Dakmor Salvage but they are not the point of the deck.
