The deck is all about forcing your big creatures into the graveyard and sacrificing creatures to get experience counters. The more experience counters, the better. You also want to be finding the cards in the deck that punish your opponents whenever you sacrifice creatures, like Butcher of Malakir or Dictate of Erebos.
