I built this idea from jumping in a couple months ago and picking up a 2015 core toolkit, plus wanting to add some flying and deathtouch to my life gain/drain deck. This may have been done before, but I thought this combo was pretty cool.
At first I was using Sungrace Pegasus before I decided to put this up, and realized I had nothing to play turn one, and while coincidently looking through a couple decks on this site recently, Vault Skirge appeared to be a better replacement.
To start, everything in this deck costs less than 3 mana to play, except for sunbond. So that's pretty neat.
That combo I was talking about is basically this (the perfect hand):
Turn 2: Font of Vigor
Turn 3: Vampire Nighthawk
Turn 4: attach Sunbond to vampire nighthawk
Turn 5: sac Font of Vigor and attach Dying Wish to vampire nighthawk. If you attacked with him turn 4 and he didn't die, he'd be a 4/5. After sacking FoV he's now an 11/12, and next turn he's a 22/23. Did I get that math right? And of course that Dying Wish would ensure some good dmg if he got dead.
Nyx-Fleece Ram: Great Wall steady life.
Wall of Limbs: you're gaining life, so this thing pumps. Attach Sunbond if you wish, and it pumps even more. Plus Dying Wish and when you sac him, uber damage.
Heliod's Pilgrim: gets you whatever enchantment you want obviously.
Gift of Orzhova: attach to nyx -fleece or heliod's pilgrim and make that sunbond, FoV combo happen if you wish, but no deathtouch.
And you can do the combo with Vault Skirge too!...but no deathtouch.
The sideboard is some stuff I had in the deck before I put this up. I just picked what I thought would be good for simplicity. If you guys have any feedback/suggestions. Please do. :)
