Maybeboard

Some Daxos enchantment shenanigans. Lots of enchantment creatures and enchantment-based removal.

Playtesting has proven this to be one of my best decks. Enchantment-based removal is slow, but powerful. The surprise superstar of EDH board state is Seal of Doom , whose presence discourages my opponents from attacking me for a long time (sometimes leaving me alone for long enough that I clean them all out in one turn). Several utility cards in this deck completely shut down certain strategies, and cards like True Conviction and Extinguish All Hope can singlehandedly turn the entire board upside-down in my favor.

It's too bad there are no enchantment lands. shrug

There are some spectacular enchantments in Amonkhet block, and given this deck is pretty powerful but not as powerful as I'd like it to be, I decided to give this deck a once-over and swap a few things.

The cards I've swapped out have all underperformed in playing this deck.

OUT: Whip of Erebos, Ghostblade Eidolon, Harvestguard Alseids, Brain Maggot, Nighthowler, Necromancer's Covenant, Marshal's Anthem, Cage of Hands, Heliod, God of the Sun, Spectral Grasp

IN: Anointed Procession, Authority of the Consuls, Cast Out, Consulate Crackdown, Cruel Reality, Overwhelming Splendor, Pyramid of the Pantheon, Sol Ring (yeah, I know), Trespasser's Curse, Underworld Connections

Heliod was kind of a flavor fail, anyway, considering what he did to Daxos's gf. (UPDATE: I wound up putting Heliod back in. Double whoops.)

My biggest reservation here is that I've swapped out several creatures and didn't swap any in. Considering Daxos's tokens are my best attackers and blockers, though, I'm hoping the extra mana and card draw will make up for it.

(Also did change some lands)
