This deck is meant to be a birthday present to everyone's favorite evincar of Rath, Davvol. The Phyrexian human who dines alone, and whose birthday is easily forgotten. This deck utilizes combos featuring the most flavorful card text and combo, Carnival of Souls, arguably one of the worst/best (depending on who is answering), cards in MTG history. The main point of the deck, is to offset the life loss from Carnival of Souls with any of the "ETB Life Trigger" creatures (Auriok Champion/Essence Warden/Soul Warden/Soul's Attendant/Suture Priest/Healer of the Pride). This deck is focused on featuring all cards with Davvol's words or likeness, and is centered on producing tokens, then using the tokens to further promote an infinite combo. Combo 1:

• Sigil Captain + Any of the "ETB Life Trigger" creatures (Essence Warden/Soul Warden....) + Ghave, Guru of Spores + Carnival of Souls

Steps to Accomplish This:

1. Have Ghave, Guru of Spores and Sigil Captain, and one of the "ETB Life Trigger" creatures on the battlefield, then play Carnival of Souls
2. Use the first ability of Ghave, Guru of Spores, creating a 1/1 Saproling with two +1/+1 counters on it, and 1 in your mana pool (you have not lost life due to the ETB trigger)
3. Now, use the 1 produced by Carnival of Souls to remove a +1/+1 counter from the Saproling using Ghave, Guru of Spores's ability to then create a new Saproling.
4. Repeat until you have infinite amount of Saprolings with a single +1/+1 counter on them.

Combo 2:

Death Cultist + Carnival of Souls + Enduring Renewal

Steps to Accomplish This:

1. Play Death Cultist, getting from Carnival of Souls, losing 1 life
2. Sacrifice Death Cultist, returning it to hand from Enduring Renewal, gaining 1 life
3. Repeat using the to play for the cost of Death Cultist

Combo 3:

Spike Feeder + Sunbond

Steps to Accomplish This:

1. Have Spike Feeder on the battlefield
2. Play Sunbond enchanting Spike Feeder
3. Repeat Spike Feeder's second ability to gain infinite life/usages for Ghave, Guru of Spores
