This deck is focused around swinging for lethal with shadow creatures, of which it has 18. Suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Card Breakdown:
Kraken Hatchling and Disowned Ancestors provide blockers, as the Shades can't.
Bonesplitter and Unstable Mutation significantly increase the damage output of the shades.
As for the Shades themselves, Drifter il-Dal is a 2/1 unblockable 1 drop, which in my opinion is worth the upkeep. Looter il-Kor helps dig while contributing chip damage, Horror is a mediocre 2 drop that's better than its shadow competition, and Marauder and Infiltrator form the top of our curve with 3 damage unblockable attackers.
The Ninjas have guaranteed triggers and therefore guaranteed value. Same with Hands of Binding.
Since our opponent's creatures are most likely tapped out because we can't block, Murderous Compulsion becomes a 2-mana Murder. The madness cost isn't relevant.
Since we'll have a ton of Shadow creatures, Gaze of Pain is almost a one-sided boardwipe against decks that don't have an unusually strong board presence.
For the sideboard, Verdict is for Bogles or if we just need more removal, Spellbomb is for Tortured Existence or similar decks, Hydroblast is for pretty much every red deck, Necromantic Thirst and Stormbound Geist are in case we need to play a slower game, and Dispel is against removal-heavy decks.Thank you for reading this wall of words.
