Hello everyone, and thank you for looking at my Daretti prison decklist.

This deck is a traditional prison deck that wants to deny our opponent's resources by either blowing them up or locking them down. The deck wins by either finding one of it's many powerful combos while our opponents are suppressed, or getting Daretti to Ultimate, and putting our opponents in an unwinnable situation.

Daretti is a great general for this kind of deck. Mainly because of his planeswalker status. He ain't a creature, so most of our opponent's answers to problem generals are already dead, and he dodges most of the board wipes in the format. The only downside to using one of the five planeswalker generals is that everyone loves to send their Trinketmages, manadorks, and other early game utility creatures into the redzone to give those planeswalkers a nice kick in the taint. It only gets worse when those 2/2s are traded in for 8/8s in the late game, and can continually one shot Daretti every time after you've cast him. So, YOU MUST PROTECT YOUR DARETTI! Don't cast him into a congested board with no protection unless you're using him as a one shot to get something important from the grave.
