After a couple of games, the decklist seemed to really lack draw effects and the deck feeled more or less focused.

So I added Treasure Map  Flip, Dark Prophecy, Necropotence, Minions' Murmurs and Asylum Visitor.

Plus, I wanted more effects when playing/tapping/attacking with my weenie army, this explains the addition of Purphoros, God of the Forge and Throne of the God-Pharaoh.

Ambition's Cost is likely worse than Painful Truths. One mana cheaper is a big deal for aggro decks. Also, is Mox Diamond missing because of cost or did you choose to exclude it?

Hi, Carnival of Souls might be good in here, because black is your main color. It can create pretty explosive starts in combination with your commander!

You might want to consider Champion of Dusk as a strong source of card draw, as well as maybe Greed and Necropotence. In my experience these types of card draw effects tend to work better here than Ambition's Cost type effects.

Also, Shared Animosity is very strong here. It can pump your army to ridiculous levels of power with little effort, and in many cases is a better Door of Destinies. The problem with the Door is it has no immediate effect when it hits the board and it requires gas afterwards to get it working, and it’s an absolutely terrible draw late game.

I also play an Edgar Markov deck as you might imagine. Feel free to check mine out, you might find some more cards you want for your deck: Edgar Markov tokens

Hey, I definitely understand that whole weekly EDH becoming a cluster fuck; been happening to my play group and we had to create rules to get things better.

As far as card suggestions go, I feel like Drana, Liberator of Malakir, Mavren Fein, Dusk Apostle, Shadow Alley Denizen, and Cover of Darkness are nessecary inclusions here; definitely worth considering.

Some cards I added for variety's sake and because they are good, but depends on how you want the deck to run Aurelia, the Warleader, Mirri the Cursed, Olivia, Mobilized for War, Whip of Erebos, and Vanquisher's Banner.

Oh and for the flavor I play one Campaign of Vengeance, because the flavor in that artwork is too strong.

PlattBonnay , I've skipped Mox Diamond because I do not own it unfortunatly. Someday maybe! Thank you!

Bxbx I'm not sure about carnival of soul, I would need much more lifegain to be truly effective. But I'll think about it and put it in my sideboard.Thank you!

JoeNathan37, shared animosity seems like a huge addon to my decklist and costs less than door of destinies. I'm still searching for good/cheap draw effects. Thank you and I'll take a look to your deck ASAP.

DrkNinja Yeah man, it's been rough for the playgroup lately. Some don't really come anymore because some are taking the game too seriously (like me). So yeah, I'e decided to tune down a little my decks so they become more casual-friendky. I like Mirri the Cursed, maybe I'll add it looks like a fun card and I like the old weatherlight crew members. Thank you for your ideas!

Looks fun! This Hyper Markov deck has more creatures to increase the eminence bonus. Check it out.

Hi BigBoyBeau I think that sometimes more is less.

I prefer less creatures to have more answers. I really like instant speed spells.

But I'll look at your creature list I might have forgotten great addons. Thanks for you help.

Cathars' Crusade is definitely a must, it pairs so well with the tokens Edgar makes! Whip of Erebos and Campaign of Vengeance are good ways to take advantage of attacking. Authority of the Consuls and that other one (totally just had a brain fart LOL). Blind Obedience, that's the one!

Kindred Dominance, Harsh Mercy, and Patriarch's Bidding are awesome ways to take advantage of tribal.

If you want any more ideas I have my own Edgar Markov deck.

Hey Darkshadow327, thanks for the suggestions.

Had those in my 120+ card list, they did not make the cut for now.

What would you remove to add harsh mercy, cathar's crusade and patriarch bidding?

It took me a day to drop it to 100 haha

I would say Tithe for Land Tax, since it it is a guarantees land drop every turn.

Nameless Inversion for Kindred Dominance.

It's all up to preference but I would say Fire Covenant or Stromkirk Condemned for Harsh Mercy.

Falkenrath Gorger for Patriarch's Bidding (honestly gorger is better in a deck with discard shenanigans).

I'll playtest Tithe and land tax separately. Since tithe can fetch for 2 duals at instant speed, I have a preference for this one. I want to build a board fast.

I'll also try to switch fire covenant with harsh mercy.

Well there's a lot of playtesting to do haha

Ya, that's the trick LOL.

I just like land tax since I literally have the worst luck ever with lands.

Crackling Doom, Mortify, Vindicate, and Utter End are all really good removal, and I would suggest some of them instead of Fire Covenant, Nameless Inversion, or the counterspells, which kinda seem a little out of place in a vampire tribal deck?

Legion's Landing, Blade of the Bloodchief, and Radiant Destiny are fun for the tribal help.

Patron of the Vein is removal, and continues to buff all your vampires. bloodline necromancer and Bishop of Rebirth are useful recursion, and Bloodlord of Vaasgoth and Necropolis Regent are just real nice for makin big dudes.

Really cool deck! Check out my Russian Vampire Mafia, it's cool to see how decks with the same commander and idea can feel so different sometimes.

xStormyx those are great removal suggestions. A cool fact about Nameless Inversion and other shapeshifter changeling type instant cards is that they triggers Edgar Markov's eminence and create a 1/1 Vampire token! Another good card with a similarly useful effect is Rootborn Defenses.

Hey xStormyx, thanks for your suggestions. My deck is still in its early stage, in fact I just had my first game with it yesterday.

White counterspells seem odd for some but it can save your army against mass removal. This is my priority in my playgroup since there are a lot of control.

Fire covenant is in playtesting, I like the idea of removing lots of threats early on without having to wipe my own army.

So yeah, yesterday I played against:

Trostani, Selesnya's Voice token aggro

Talrand, Sky Summoner counterspells everything

Omnath, Locus of Rage still not fully optimised but could do awefull things

Zedruu the Greathearted prison/stax/chaos

Nissa, Vastwood Seer  Flip infect

My deck got out of control very early on, Sanctum Seeker and Mana Echoes did the most in that game. I got to 170ish life and looked very dangerous with board presence to all even Talrand with his control spells.

Unfortunatly I got screwed by tax effects of the Zedruu player. He went for a mass land removal, then mass creature removal. Had lots of tax effect and then he added a Pyromancer's Swath on top of it. He then won my stalling (for an hour!!!) and playing Test of Endurance. I tryed to counter and remove his stuff but he always had the answer.

I'm still happy with that loss, since I destroyed almost everyone and the most experienced player at the table had to give everything to win.
